Here is the THR 2000 GT "Cobra R Clone". This beauty started life as a standard GT, but was quickly livened up by the team here at THR. With a full 00 Cobra R body kit including a wing, hood, front fascia, side skirts, and side scoops, it was ready for paint and we decided to go with something unique like Ford's 3 stage Electric Laser Red Clearcoat.

After the paint & body swap, it was in desperate need of some new shoes, so we added the Original 18 x 9.5 Silver Cobra R Wheels directly from Ford's SVT department. Next we covered them with some Awesome Kuhmo Ectsa MX Series Tires. These are the new AutoCross tires for the street/track. Let me tell you, these tires are glue!

In addition, we wanted to enhance the factory tan interior so we through in some new factory black carpets, a pair of lightweight Tenzo R seats, a rear seat delete, and repainted some of the interior panels to finish off the two-tone look.

After the re-shoe, it was time for some more Oomph under the hood! With the addition of a MAC cold air kit, MAC Long tubes, off road H-pipe, & complete cat-back with 3.5" tips, 4.10 gears, an Accufab Polished T-Body, a FMS 10.5 inch Clutch, and Eibach sportline springs to set her back down on the rubber, it was time for some road tests!
